I am a Real Artist -- with or without a computer:
While I am an expert with computer graphics software, I am grateful to have gotten my
professional start, as an artist, in a non-computer environment. I'm not just someone who
learned how to operate Adobe Creative Suite! I have gained an understanding of form
and structure that I believe is the foundation of all effective design. I have a strong sense
of typography and am capable of beautiful illustration, digital photography, and amazing photo retouching and restoration. I am also very skilled as a writer and at copy editing.

I am Experienced in my Craft:
My professional design experience encompasses many facets; from file handling and
prepress production skills for print media, to design using wide-format digital output for
display art, to graphics designated for the Web or on-screen slide presentations. Extensive
freelance experience, on military and civilian government contracts as well as in the private
sector for corporate and small business, has allowed me the chance to work on projects
with a wide variety of clients. These varied assignments have given me an almost uncanny effectiveness in understanding customer requirements.
